There are two ways of inserting a 3D graph in MatDeck. You can place it in the document like an object or create a graph widget independently from the document.
If you choose run it as the widget option it will get the 3D Plus form shown on the next picture.
A wide range of formatting options are available in 3D graph: add axis names, change axis resolution and steps, change axis ratio, show the coordinate planes, find intersections and peaks, choose between linear and cubic splines, show origin points…
MatDeck 3D plots and handles the data stored in a column vector which has vectors within itself. Every vector represents the data for one specific slice of the graph. To create the data you can use the function, surface3d.
